PTM has an immediate opening for a laser technician programmer / operator with preferred Mazak 3 axis laser experience.

Mazak 3- Axis Laser technician would ideally hold the ability to set up, digitize and make changes.

Knowledge and experience to edit cut codes, perform minimal laser maintenance, beam alignments and lens cleaning. Minimum of 3-5 years experience. Reliable transportation and good attendance.

Provides administrative support to ensure efficient operation of office.

Answers phone calls, schedules meetings and supports visitors.

Carries out administrative duties such as filing, typing, copying, binding, scanning etc.

Completes operational requirements by scheduling and assigning administrative projects and expediting work results.

Makes travel arrangements for senior staff such as booking flights, cars, and hotel or restaurant reservations.

Supports team by performing tasks related to organization and strong communication.

Knowledge of Faro Arm or Laser Tracker

Good understanding of GD&T

Microsoft office programs (excel, word, outlook)

Can read blueprints.

Ability to read, understand design specifications and standards

Ability to work independently with written and verbal direction

Good written and verbal communication skills

H.S. diploma or equivalent

Positive attitude in work environment

Able of lifting up to 50 pounds.

Due to continued success and expansion we currently have and immediate opening for a welder and fabricator.

Ideal Candidate:

Be proficient in MIG welding, ability to TIG weld a plus

1+ years in experience with aluminum welding

Have fabrication experience, knowledge of layout

Strong attention to detail

Reliable transportation

Demonstrate ability to work in a busy multi-task environment

Be dependable, hardworking, team players

Operation of resistance spot welding machines which includes loading parts into the build fixtures, engaging the machine and running the weld cycle.

Basic mechanical skills, knowledge of fitting parts up to assembly drawings.

Mark or tag material with proper job number, piece marks, and other identifying marks as required.

Removal of rough spots from work pieces, using portable grinders, hand files, or scrapers.

Welding associates are responsible for dressing, changing, spacing and adjusting welding tips, and ensuring a high quality of weld by complying with standard work guidelines, process instructions and print specifications.

PTM is actively seeking skilled sheet metal finishers, preferably with prototype metal stamping knowledge in both automotive and consumer products. Ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years metal finishing experience.

Proficient knowledge of working characteristics of metallic materials, machining, and layout techniques. Strong experience using hand tools, power tools and machinery, including operation of band saw, metal muncher, press brake etc. As well as an understanding of tolerances, debur process, inspection and qualification of parts on fixtures.

Individual must have proven experience in the Metal Stamping and development of parts and tooling. Ideal candidate for the Prototype Press Operator position would have 6+ years’ experience in deep draw, hydraulic press operating experience.

Compensation and pay based upon knowledge and experience in metal stamping and prototype, hydraulic press operation.

2nd shift opportunities offer shift wage premium.

Press Operator / Die Setter candidates will have preferred minimum of 5 years' experience in die setting 1000 ton presses or larger. ERP experience a plus - PLEX preferred.
